Jawaharlal Nehru University 

JNU draws admissions from candidates from across the country and abroard. As per NIRF ranking 2023, the university ranks second among all universities in India. While JNU UG admission to multiple courses offered by the university will be through the CUET 2024, there are some courses which do not consider CUET UG scores. The official website is — jnu.ac.in.

JNU offers over 100 courses at the UG, PG, and doctoral levels. The courses are offered in the fields of arts, science, computer applications, medical, engineering, law, mass communication, and management. Additionally, JNU offers diploma, advanced diploma, and certificate courses in various languages. 

JNU offers admission to its various UG level programmes through CUET 2024. These UG level programms include BA (Hons) in Pashto, Persian, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, French, German, Spanish and Russian, BSc-MSc Integrated Programme in ayurveda biology, COP Mongolian, Bhasha Indonesia, Urdu, Pashto, Uzbek, Hebrew and Pali.

Jamia Milia Islamia

Jamia Milia Islamia ranks third among all universities in India as per NIRF ranking 2023. While JMI UG admission to multiple courses offered by the university will be through the CUET 2024, there are also some courses in JMI which do not consider CUET UG scores. There are 61 UG programmes, 58 doctoral programmes, 86 masters programmes and 20 diploma courses available in a variety of fields, including doctorate, master, PG, UG, diploma, advanced diploma, and school programmes.

CUET UG scores will be accepted for admission to BA (Hons) Hindi, Sanskrit, French and Francophone Studies, Spanish and Latin American Studies, economics, history, biotechnology, Korean language, persian, urdu, Turkish language and literature, BSc hons physics, chemistry, applied mathematics, BVoc solar energy.

University of Delhi

Delhi University or DU which is recognised as an “Institute of Excellence” by the UGC is ranked 11 and 22 under the ‘University’ and ‘Overall’ categories in NIRF Rankings 2023, respectively. DU offers over 500 full-time courses at UG, PG, PG diploma, diploma, certificate, and doctoral levels through 91 affiliated colleges, 86 departments, and 16 faculties. CUET UG scores will be used to admit students to DU in courses including BSc (Hons) anthropology, biological sciences, botany, zoology, microbiology, biomedical science, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, polymer science, computer science, electronics, instrumentation, environmental science, food technology, geology, mathematics, statistics, home science, BA (Hons) English, history, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Persian, French, German, philosophy, geography, economics, psychology,  journalism, political science, social work, sociology, multi-media and mass communication, Sanskrit and BCom (Hons).

There are some other central universities located in Delhi like Central Sanskrit University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University and Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Urdu University which also consider CUET UG scores for admission.

There are several other universities in Delhi which also conduct their entrance test for admission to its UG and PG courses including the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
